Welcome to Senior English!
I am excited to welcome you (back) to Hartland High School! During this course you will be strengthening and
further defining your skills in the practical applications of writing and
reading. We will also focus on the writing process, creative writing, the
study and analysis of literature, media literacy, research and citation,
vocabulary development, and grammatical application skills.
The required assessments for the course include the following:
In addition to working on all these things, we will be exploring two great novels: One flew over the cuckoo's nest by Ken Kesey and 1984 by George Orwell.
I look forward to learning and exploring all these topics together this year!
